Radiodetection Precision Locator & GPR Training (Mississauga, ON)

As more underground infrastructure develops, it becomes increasingly important to locate and map buried utilities to prevent accidents and damage to infrastructure. Using Precision Locators and GPR together will allow you to accurately locate metallic and non-metallic utilities and underground assets.

April 27th will focus on GPR, and April 28th will focus on Precision Locators. Topics covered include:

April 27th – Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)

• GPR theory
• Factors affecting target detection
• Frequency & resolution
• Application of Line Scan and Grid Scans
• Survey techniques
• Data interpretation

January 28th – Precision Locators

• Basic locating theory
• Passive & active locating
• Frequency selection
• Maximizing transmitter output
• Getting a good ground
• Survey techniques

Attend these in-person Nulca-accredited courses where participants will learn all aspects from theory and instrumentation to survey techniques and data interpretation. A major component of this course is getting hands-on experience using the equipment. Please dress appropriately for being outdoors.
