ississauga — Sensors & Software is pleased to announce that we are the first company certified to provide the Nulca-Accredited course on GPR for the Locating Technician.

Nulca represents Utility Locating Professionals and works with numerous industry associations to prevent utility damage and promote safety. To that end, Nulca has extended its competency standard for training utility locators to include Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR). The four major competency units are GPR theory, GPR data collection parameters, interpretation and in-field marking procedures.

Sensors & Software’s one-day training course is the first GPR course to be accredited by NSF-ISR to meet the Nulca training standards and ensure that the locator demonstrates knowledge, skill and understanding in applying GPR safely and professionally to utility locates. Our goal is to provide a training course that exceeds the Nulca training standard and ensures that locators attending this course become highly capable GPR users in the field. Our approved trainers have years of experience training utility locators and other professionals in the practical application of GPR to their problems. The addition of this accreditation to our established training program provides a further reassurance to students that training from Sensors & Software will provide them with skills that are recognized across the utility locating industry.

Sensors & Software’s one-day training course is the first GPR course to be accredited by NSF-ISR to meet the Nulca training standards and ensure that the locator demonstrates knowledge, skill and understanding in applying GPR safely and professionally to utility locates.

The inaugural course will be held at the CGA 811 conference in Phoenix, Arizona on March 6th. Additional courses will be added to our regular training schedule at our office and at various locations throughout North America.
