JOB SUMMARY

Supported by the Director, Corporate Services, Corporate Project Manager will collaborate with all business areas for the successful evaluation, planning, execution and assessment of all projects. The Company operates all its business units on a project basis and overall coordination across the broad array of activities is the focus for this role.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Manage multiple cross-departmental/functional projects in parallel with specific adherence to scope, schedule and budget;
  2. Partner with Project Sponsors and/or stakeholders to develop master project plans, project scope, schedule, key milestones, objectives, resource allocation, execute risk assessment and track spend against budget for all projects;
  3. Maintain project plans and identify, evaluate and mitigate potential risks proactively;
  4. Develop, lead, and maintain up-to-date Project timelines inclusive of critical path, key interdependencies, financial commitments, and resource constraints, while applying appropriate project scheduling techniques;
  5. Collaborate with area leads for requirements gathering & evaluation, business case analysis and document SOW;
  6. Schedule and facilitate team meetings, collaborate with project team members and external vendors and track vendor tasks/deliverables;
  7. Monitor project status, percent completion and execution; report timely updates via Project Templates and Dashboards; and develop agendas, minutes, metrics, etc. for the team members and leads
  8. Ensure change order process is consistently followed, documented & communicated for any changes to scope, priority, budget or timelines;
  9. Lead “lessons learned” exercises and share lessons among project leads, sponsors and other teams
  10. Coordinate vendor relationships and project-related procurement;
  11. Lead in standardizing project planning and management tools and identifying best practices, sharing cross functionally;
  12.  Implement and drive Phase Gate project management across organization;
  13. Persistently follow up and challenge status quo on project statuses to drive ontime delivery;
  14. Accurately and promptly carry out project opening and closing process and activities with all business units;
  15. Conduct periodic assessment of project quality, progress, risk and viability;
  16. Quality of ongoing communication with Project Leads and Sponsors, ensuring upward communication of project issues to drive clarity and remove potential barrier;
  17. Identify critical issues with projects and risk for non-delivery to leadership team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field;
  2. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a cross-functional project management role;
  3. 3–5 years Agile/Waterfall environment experience;
  4. ScrumMaster, PMP/PRINCE2 certification;
  5. Comprehensive understanding of continuous delivery, DevOps, Scrum, Agile and Capabilities Organization model;
  6. Hands-on experience related to outsourcing product development & production;
  7. Experienced in managing full project life cycle (from conception to delivery) with multiple verticals within the business;
  8. Thorough knowledge and experience in risk management and requirement setting/management;
  9. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to constructively communicate during stressful times with team and stakeholders;
  10. Process driven with the flexibility to engage challenges with creative thinking;
  11. Strong facilitation and influencing skills;
  12. Excellent organization, analytical and time management skills;
  13. Excellent people management and interpersonal skills including ability to manage both remote and on-site teams
