If IceMap data are coupled with the Global Positioning System (GPS) for positioning, the ice thickness data generated by IcePicker can be exported to the QuickMap software, producing accurate color-coded, plan-view maps of the ice area surveyed in seconds.

The IcePicker software package automatically picks the bottom of the ice reflector and extracts the ice thickness at every point. The ice thickness data are saved as standard spreadsheet files to facilitate export to plotting programs.
